Steinbach’s “European
Heritage – Scotland” nutcracker is the FIRST of their new “EUROPEAN
HERITAGE” series. It is strictly limited to 2,000 pieces and impresses
with its high-quality workmanship and carefully selected details, such as the
Scottish costume with kilt, the black top hat and the national instrument, the
bagpipes. Scotland is an ancient country with a rich and varied history. From
outstanding ancient archaeological remains to castles, monuments and
battlefields, the history of Scotland is omnipresent around us and everywhere.
The Scots also discovered the USA for themselves. Immigration took place
particularly in the 18th and 19th centuries. The first settlement areas were in
Pennsylvania. A piece of history is told in detailed handcraft by Steinbach.
